据台湾媒体报道，台剧《放羊的星星》相隔10年宣布重新翻拍陆版，导演仍是来自台湾的沈怡，开拍行程受到外界高度关注。制片人肖飞近日公开新版概念海报，承诺“不负众望，认真选演员”，继男主角传出可能是邓伦，女主角人选也有了新的名单出现。

《放羊》以珠宝业为故事舞台，女主角“夏之星”拥有设计天赋，戏里从骗子逐渐成为珠宝设计师。新版海报是一副油画，女子的双手正要抓住闪耀的星星，手上戴着一条蓝宝石手鍊，令人联想到原版剧情中让男女主角苦寻的宝石，海报文案写道：“追忆十年，心动升级。”

有关新版演员阵容，尽管制作人保证“一定不负众望，认真选演员、认真制作，和沈怡导演一起完成一部好的作品！”此外，网上也传出女主角是《楚乔传》的李沁，加上邓伦的组合堪称现阶段呼声最高。
