据国外媒体报道，福克斯正式宣布，将开除新片《波西米亚狂想曲》的导演布莱恩·辛格。几小时后，辛格回应：这是福克斯的报复，因为他请假回美国照顾自己生病的双亲。

布莱恩·辛格是美国著名导演，曾执导过电视剧《天赋异禀》和《X战警：逆转未来》。正是看上了辛格的能力和好口碑，福克斯才把颇受重视的皇后乐队传记片《波西米亚狂想曲》交给了辛格指导。

然而就在上周五，福克斯却突然宣布这部新片要暂停拍摄，因为导演”突然缺席”，随后宣布炒掉了辛格。据辛格说，他当时要求离开剧组是因为家庭成员遇到了紧急的健康状况，但福克斯却不肯协调，并十分不希望他离开剧组。

辛格同时否认了其他传闻，比如他的离开是因为和影片主演拉米·马雷克在片场有争执。”有传闻称，我突然离开剧组是我和马雷克有争执，这完全是假的，我和他的确有一些创作理念上的不同，但是我们成功的把这些异议抛之脑后，一直愉快的合作到感恩节前。”辛格对记者说。

谈起自己被炒掉的消息，辛格依旧愤愤不平：“我只是希望能把这部作品完成，以表达我对皇后乐队的敬意。但是福克斯显然不给我这个机会，就因为我把我的健康和我家人的健康摆在了第一位。”

据知情人透露，辛格本来希望在感恩节假日后重返剧组，但显然这个愿望已经落空。随着辛格离开了这部电影，今早他在福克斯的办公室也开始被逐渐清空。
