简介：沈金兴——饰演 康靖，战争年代很有正义感的一个青年，一开始喜欢表妹，但表妹的爸不喜欢他，因为表妹家是小资本家，而他家很穷。 　　在学校的时候表妹喜欢上了自己的好朋友马中原。并逃婚和他在一起，自己的妹妹代替自己嫁给了一个有钱的坏男人，马中原因为自己的身份并不敢接受爱情。马中原在一次救了她之后还是和她发生了关系，康靖只好退出了开始去救国，在路上遇到了秀秀，两个人互生情愫，历经磨难后走在了一起，后来知道秀秀是中原妹妹，中原得知后很愤怒，有一个场景好像是康靖和中原坐在山坡上，康靖在讲他和秀秀的美好将来，中原抽出一把刀想杀了他，但后来终于控制住了，戳在了自己的手臂上。 　　但是后来秀秀死了，死的特别惨，被日军侮辱了，还病死了。康靖特别伤心，中原也为妹妹的死开始觉醒。陈丽贞知道中原是日本特务后，就带着和中原的儿子跟康靖一起逃亡，当陈丽贞知道中原是日本特务后，跑了出来，多亏了康靖照顾她和儿子，过了几年。就当她准备接受康靖，让儿子叫康靖爸爸的时候，马中原在街上碰到了儿子，父子天性，在教街上的小孩子唱歌的时候，更喜欢自己的孩子了；可是当陈丽贞知道儿子学日本歌的时候严厉制止的儿子。下次马中原再在街上碰到儿子让他们唱歌，儿子就不唱了。 并说出是妈妈不让。，马中原用计让儿子唱了一遍，并让手下给孩子家送去了一袋米，就是在陈丽贞准备赶紧搬家的时候，马中原来到了她家里，把儿子带走， 陈丽贞也只好跟着去了马中原那里，并通过儿子生病，马中原醉酒等，发现还是彼此爱着对方的。陈丽贞的妹妹失手杀了自己的丈夫，陈丽贞求马中原救救妹妹，马中原开始不肯，但是陈丽贞说自己和妹妹的感情和马中原和妹妹的感情是一样的，终于打动了马中原，可是他们赶到的时候，她的妹妹已经死了，只能在马中原的陪同下，给妹妹烧了纸。后来马中原为了救她们，让她带着儿子走，可是结果在一条小船上被日本士兵在岸上乱抢射死。最后一个镜头是几十年以后，中原已变成了一个老人，在扫地，当他看到日本人在歪曲历史时，就在那边痛斥他们，结果别人以为他是疯子。结局特别凄惨，大部分人都死了，连主角都只死剩一个中原。…
