第27集:赵军终降，欲灭降兵

高地之上，白起骑马而立，四周野草蔓蔓，谷底人头攒动，一句“赵军，该降了”，便决定了赵军的命运。

在赵军的帅帐之内，年轻的赵括几日间便憔悴了不少，面对秦军的压迫，副将们建议赵军可以诈降而以图后续，但赵括拒绝了，他深知诈降白起必不会信，与其如此，不如拼死一搏，或许还有生路。

心意已决的赵括下令赵军兵分四路向四个方向突围，若不成功便反复突围，直至战死，这样的决定不可谓不悲壮，可他少年意气，鲜衣怒马，怎能容忍自己成为降将？故而宁愿战死，亦不能降，果然，路遇王龁的赵括被乱箭射死，英年早逝。

失去赵括的赵军很快便投降了秦军，持续了三年的长平之战，就这样结束了，得到消息的赵王当场晕厥，而同样得到消息的嬴稷却激动得语无伦次，张禄见状，复又提议歼灭所有赵军降兵之事，果然，当白起派军需官回咸阳向嬴稷讨要粮草之时，张禄趁机发难，质问为何赵军还有二十万降兵存活，其实张禄的想法，白起并非不知，他早已料到依着张禄的想法，这二十万的赵国降兵怕是保不住性命，但却还是想尽力一试，然而张禄此人远比白起想的还要阴险，他不仅主张歼灭赵军降兵，甚至不让嬴稷出面，也不出丞相令，只让白起自己体会圣意，意图让世人皆以为杀降兵乃白起一人之意，而与秦国无关。

知道此行不会太过顺利的军需官趁着回咸阳的机会，顺道拜见了白起的夫人赵蔓，得知情况的赵蔓当时便泫泪欲泣，一面是自己母国的同胞，一面是自己的夫君，她无论如何都不能接受嬴稷居然让自己的夫君歼灭赵国降兵之事。

更遑论，嬴稷为了不承担后果，居然听从张禄之言，只给白起下了一道口诏，赵蔓于心不忍，直接面见赢稷，请求嬴稷收回成命，嬴稷不肯，赵蔓又求嬴稷下诏书给白起命他歼灭赵国降兵，嬴稷犹豫了，这时张禄出现，打断了二人的对话，直言一切都是他的主意，与嬴稷无关。

赵蔓质问张禄为何要陷白起于不义，但阴险的张禄根本不以为意，甚至理直气壮的告诉赵蔓，白起此人当以武安天下，既是以武安天下，区区二十万降兵，杀之又有何妨？
