多尔衮知道玉儿被软禁心里烦躁不理小玉儿，小玉儿在家见多尔衮不理自己心里闷的发慌。吴克善前来拜访，多尔衮设宴款待，酒醉后吴克善说玉儿是因为有母仪天下的命所以皇太极才娶了她，十分自豪，多尔衮恍然大悟。玉儿来到疯掉的淳福晋寝宫想套出是谁让自己滑胎的真相，突然哲哲赶到收搜查出一个写有海兰珠的人偶，玉儿眼看着哲哲把淳福晋带走，心有更加疑虑。

玉儿滑胎和海兰珠中毒之事全加在了淳福晋身上，皇太极要把淳福晋打入冷宫结束此事，玉儿觉得事有蹊跷要求明查却被皇太极强硬阻止，玉儿见无法查出真相十分难过。策马狂奔差点冲下悬崖幸好多尔衮及时赶到救了她，并激将玉儿不能被海兰珠打败，要重新振作起来。

朝廷里为打败明将袁崇焕毫无办法，玉儿突然赶来，告诉皇太极梦见明朝崇祯皇帝杀了袁崇焕，启发皇太极使用反间计成功杀死袁崇焕，从此皇太极对玉儿刮目相看，并亲自为玉儿批上白狐大衣，送上珍珠耳环。天下大雪，小玉儿心中慌闷拉着多尔衮到郊外骑马游玩，多尔衮看见金雕知道玉儿就在附近，便让小玉儿独自回家，并找到玉儿一起在萨满庙外玩起了雪花，一个庙祝假装清理积雪捡到了玉儿掉下的珍珠耳环。

晚宴时，皇太极看到多尔衮的金雕突然撞进大殿，脚上还挂着玉儿的珍珠耳环，十分愤怒。皇太极喝醉迁怒哲哲，指责她的锦囊妙计让自己蒙羞，并找到玉儿强吻。海兰珠告诉小玉儿，玉儿曾为皇太极只身一人去找过多尔衮，两人关系密切，小玉儿心如刀割。多尔衮独自黯然伤神，小玉儿来到他身边请求多尔衮爱自己，不要离开自己，多尔衮愧疚轻轻的安抚着她。
