半夜外面一阵消防车的声音，房客崔佳突然穿戴整齐从客房冲了出来，还撞掉了黄大社(阿楠 饰)端给杨杨(刘思言 饰)的汤罐。早上佟铁刚(周小斌 饰)吹集合哨，崔佳又第一个冲出来站好，让大家莫名其妙，崔佳这才说自己是住店客人，是消防兵退伍的，以为出火警了,条件发射。这时，门外进来个姑娘，问崔佳佳要狗还是要她，崔佳表示都要，姑娘一气之下走了。大家问明情况，原来崔佳要去接和他并肩战斗的老搜救犬，这是一只即将退役的搜救犬，他要给它养老送终，大家看到崔佳微博的名字是“帅气的逆行者”，头像是他和那只搜救犬，逆着逃出的人群，向火场奔去的背影。众人被崔佳打动，要帮崔佳挽回女友潘冰冰，对她进行一次深入的爱狗教育。潘冰冰坦言自己小时候被狗咬过，有心理阴阳，不能接受狗。于是大家送给她一个玩具狗，让潘冰冰适应，后来偷偷换了真狗，结果潘冰冰发现真相更害怕了。大家彻底放弃了。大明白一听崔佳的搜救犬在宠物店，主动去照顾，实则想让警犬当自己的保镖。结果要揍大明白的冤家遇险，警犬奋不顾身地救了他的冤家，自己还挨了一顿揍。
