在晚上看到永祯安排被杀的一幕，而给吓至晕倒的若岚，当苏醒后发现一切记忆均回复了；但她无法想通，十年前明明亲眼见双春在洞房前还与奸夫见面，跟着把丈夫害死，她这十年来为何不离开，反而苦苦支撑着酒楼及用尽心力照顾关家上下及疯了的自己。双春发现若岚醒来，更高兴得拥抱着她，令若岚更感疑惑。为了查出谁人是双春的奸夫，若岚决定继续诈傻，更悄悄跟踪双春；若岚发现双春与街上的众男士均谈笑风生，令她更肯定双春是个坏女人……

遇上难题九妹求助

若岚跟踪双春时，突然遇上卖鱼胜的纠缠；想不到这时双春出现替她解困，更在众人前指责卖鱼胜一番。若岚坐在酒楼看着双春解决不断出现的问题时，永祯出现人前，原来当年安山在问斩前曾向若岚托孤，而若岚更为没法照顾永祯兄弟而让他们失散之事内疚不已。若岚到丈夫照山的墓前拜祭，更许下找出双春通奸证据的承诺。飞扬要九妹煮桂花虾仁，在试吃后更说他的手艺不错；但之后飞扬总共要九妹煮出五碟同样的菜式，更指当中暗藏了一个课题。九妹没法理解只好请求众人帮忙，当众人试过五碟桂花虾仁后，双春终明白九妹遇上了严重的问题；双春为了让九妹明白，更特意设计了一个测试让九妹亲身尝试……九妹发现自己的味觉出现问题，只得请双春陪他求医，医师诊症后指九妹阴阳失调，因此一般药石甚难治理，其实最好是尽快结婚，便可理顺身体，但九妹明白这事将无法实现……永祯找到正为九妹的病而在发闷气的双春，更向她坦言说出九妹暗恋她一事；双春听后大为震惊，之后更臭骂永祯一顿才拂袖而去。

无妄之灾竟被绑架

润月与哲严看不过眼胜天与金凤的亲密，故意挑战胜天与他们比赛单车，但结果两人惨败于胜天手下。胜天本想约金凤看影画戏，但因飞扬要求他陪自己见客，于是只得把戏票转赠给永祯，更特意连汽车及保镖也借给永祯“会佳人”；原来永祯欲约双春观赏，不知所措的双春只得收下戏票。永祯在等候双春时被误认为是胜天，更被绑匪所捉；飞扬得知永祯被绑架的消息后，竟决定不付赎金。双春从润月等人口中，得知是他们请流氓教训胜天但令永祯被绑架；双春与九妹与绑匪见面，希望说服他们释放永祯，结果九妹终与对方大打出手……
