李朗(吴镇宇 饰)故意与志权作对，派人捣乱志权之架步，又抢去志权大批珠宝，志权甚为不忿。李朗向山口组之大野次朗买一大批军火，志权得悉，欲夺去此批军火，反中李朗奸计，伤亡惨重。盈莹替冠豪拍广告，求得万云客串演出，蔓菁因而得知万云下落，往找万云，惠玲见蔓菁见蔓菁对万云之热情态度，心中颇为不快。万云被报馆催促回英国述职，万云唯与惠玲暂时分手，蔓菁却主动陪万云往英国，惠玲颇感不满。志权为向李朗报复，把李朗私运鎗械一事向警方告密，李朗之军火终被悉数充公。万云辞去报馆之职，回港后把油轮神秘失踪一事在镇国之报章上刊出，何森(罗国维 饰)因而被警方调查，志权派人杀他灭口，布置成是他畏罪自杀。
