朱莉娅·班森（JuliaBenson）身高170cm，1979年出生于加拿大不列颠哥伦比亚省温哥华。1998年到2001年在加拿大英属哥伦比亚大学学习戏剧专业。
朱莉娅·班森在2003年开始踏足电影表演事业。她一开始常常出现在神秘或恐怖型哥特式科幻作品中。这些作品大部分是在温哥华拍摄，题材往往涉及宗教、精神疾病或超自然现象。同时朱丽娅也练习高温瑜伽。
2007年她在电影《胜利之路》中饰演女主角安娜，安娜是一个脱衣舞娘，她爱上了一个因伤无法参赛的橄榄球运动员。为了拍摄这部电影，朱莉娅特意到温哥华的布兰迪脱衣舞俱乐部进行学习。
从2009到2011朱莉娅在《星际之门:宇宙》中饰演VanessaJames。她在第一季的其中一集《疼痛》中的精彩表演为她赢得了2010年利奥奖连续剧最佳女配角。
除了演戏，朱莉娅在芭蕾舞，踢踏舞和爵士舞中都有着非凡的才华，朱莉娅·班森也是一个认证的健美操教练。
