李海潮和宝仲按照计划用匕首无声的除掉门口的守卫。本来应该拿匕首的李海潮突然从怀里掏出枪，枪声很快惊动了周围埋伏的日军和警察。刘瑾贤等人寡不敌众，只好撤退。

祁管家从英国工部局回来，日本人给英国领事馆施压，命令巡捕房抓捕刺杀高凌霨的瑞年等人。祁管家将巡捕房上上下下打点好，巡捕房总管答应拖到明天再捉拿。为今之计就是赶紧将瑞年等人送出天津。

深夜，祁管家驱车载着瑞年到码头乘船。近藤琴音早就料到瑞年今晚会逃离天津，在码头附近带着大批日军埋伏。祁管家、瑞年、宝仲冲出汽车和日军打起来，只要李海潮一人还缩在车里不敢出来。近藤琴音瞄准瑞年，早就中枪的祁管家发现后，冲过去替瑞年挡了一枪。瑞年化悲痛为力量，消灭了大半日本人。近藤琴音不敢闹出太大动静，驱车而去。

祁管家的死让贝勒府陷入悲痛之中。福晋下令为祁管家隆重的办丧事。瑞年等人还来不及悲痛，当务之急的赶紧离开天津。

离开的时候，瑞年和宝仲去找李海潮。李海潮留下字据，不辞而别。宝仲骂李海潮贪生怕死，瑞年只是感叹各有各的路。

李海潮混过日租界的门口守卫，逃进自己家。李海潮害怕的打电话给婉如，明明是害怕和瑞年冒生命的危险还口口声声的告诉婉如，他是为了婉如才留在天津的，并且让婉如明早到日租界来找他。

门外传来敲门声。李海潮听到对方说是近藤琴音后，毫无防备的打开了房门。进了房内，近藤琴音冷声告诉李海潮是大日本帝国的军人，代号札幌之星。李海潮这才感觉到危险，枪口对准近藤琴音。但是李海潮不是瑞年，近藤琴音不是柔弱的女子，近藤琴音一个反手就轻而易举的制服了李海潮。
