八路军缴获了一批军工厂设备，上级任命淑娟为军工厂的厂长。瑞年、甘子风、淑娟、高丽华聚在一起为淑娟践行，李有泉意外来访。李有泉此次一是为淑娟践行，二是跟甘子风和高丽华道歉。李有泉如此正儿八经的道歉，甘子风和高丽华大窘，是他们故意隐瞒了恋爱情况，所以才让李有泉误会，归根究底还是他们处理不当。最终，李有泉和甘子风互相敬了一杯酒，这事才算过去。瑞年也给李有泉敬了一杯酒，这次冠州失守，是因为自己的过失，李有泉替自己背黑锅，降为代理旅长，还在程司令面前为自己说好话，瑞年为自己之前对李有泉的偏见不满感到羞愧。李有泉了解瑞年的心思，却拒绝喝下这杯酒，表示等哪天瑞年加入共产党再喝这杯酒。
